Hi mate I got a text off a mate via a mate of his and its very quiet over but should pick up by the end of the month early next month, personally I'd leave it until late May unless we get some really settled weather (West Coast)
            Cheers Alan...

thanks alan, that sounds about right the last time i was their was at the end of may lastyear and it was brilliant,u couldnt do anything wrong it was a fish a cast,(pollock)2lb mark, and the mackerell never let u down.
ive heard that the pollock start to get bigger in size as the summer goes on,
how true is this i wonder.

can u still catch them in good numbers at that time of year (sept - oct).
i thought that might be a bit late but all the better if u can.

Just spoken toa friend from whitely Bay who has a caravan at the mull. He reckons that the pollock will start in early may but hasnt been up for a fortnight due to fishing elsewhwre.

He is up there next weekend and will be given them a go and has promised to ring me.

                    Cheers
                    Dave
