  • NSFC Local representative

    Hi All,
Just a quick post to let you know I have accepted a position as a ministers representative on the Northumberland Sea Fisheries Committee. I have put a post on the conservation thread but not everyone reads that.I am normally found on the boat fishing forum as I am predominantly a boat angler.

The purpose of the the NSFC is to set the rules for the sea from the high water mark out to six miles. This area obviously includes the shore anglers and any issues arising. If there are any issues you would like me to have a look into and perhaps bring up at the meetings you are welcometo contact me via this forum.

I will be emailing all the shore angling clubs in the area with my contact details as I intend to give anglers in the region a voice in the decision making process.

    Regards
    Dave Morton

Well its always going to be an uphill struggle. There are twenty members on the comittee and only one angling rep .At least that is better odds than has been the case in recent years and I will be able to report back on matters of intrest to anglers if nothing else.

      Cheers
      Dave
