Radio Newcastle.
Was on earlies today and on way to work listened to fishing show on radio. Course fishing was spot on with good bags caught from local venues.
There was a discussion held on this years sea fishing or rather the lack of sizeable fish such as cod.(On shores and boat)
The N.E was not the only place to suffer.It appears a national problem. It seems the only good place was somewhere off Ireland.
Apparantly 50% of sea anglers have given up with a lot turning their hands to trout fishing,(something i am considering).
Comment was made about loads of undersize cod. And the fact this may bide better for next season.
All in all it has been the poorest year that anyone could remember.
Is it global warming-over fishing-who knows.
