  • Fishing up the tyne

    im new to this type of fishing and im just wondering what sort of gear i will need i normaly sea fish off the piers and rockls/beeches but want to try something a bit diff any help on what gear to choose and where the fish are will be a great help Thanks

      if your from south tymeside there are loads of good marks along the river,, i've fished as far up as International Paints but i've heard people fish further up,, there's probably loads of marks on the noth side as well but i aint fished any yet,,

          welcome to nesa mate you could give st peters marina a try quite good.Behind the copthorne hotel. buisness park up in scotchy 2hours to high tide 2 hours after.Also the ice house at north shields very snaggy might lose abit gear all you can do is try good look

            lads when i said fishing up the tyne i meant like for salmon and trout and stuff i already fish st peters its the best spot on the tyne to fish pulled in a couple of cod early january they were a couple of pound each lol
