i dont know about u 's but i'v been fishing about 5 years and i've had the worst year of my life went up to beadnell start of november got a 3lb ling and 4lb cod and six sizable coalie's all returned what a start to the season wrong had nothing since but under size cod and coalies the whithing has not even been there all i can think of is i bought a grey's apollo m2 14ft rod and i have been jinxed because i got it after that first ses i am going back to my shoreline or am crap only time will tell p.s marksworld do you smoke rollies and i was really wrong to get my back up about the litter remark because no true seaangler would leave any mark in amess so good luck for the rest of the year everybody and i'm going fluffchucking the morrow

i dont smoke rollies but our lass rolls her own, why do you ask steva??
i'm away out as well, gonna have an hour or two down the wansbeck, there is still plenty of water in the river so rod reel and some big lob worms are the order of the day

had a go on the free stretch on sunday two good takes but as at the start of the season i am still a bit inpatient, second knock really give the rod tip a good bend. i dont think the river has been stocked yet so they would have been last years fish, so quite possible a good size
