i would say yes, its quite flat when you get further on with a sheer face on the left of the skeer and then it slopes away to the right hand side

try casting in between the skeer you are on and the next skeer northwards, not a masive cast. i have only been up there a few times so i'm sure someone who fishes there on a more regular basis will give some more advice

                  cheers mark.
I lived in seahouses for 18years but don't know any of the good fishing marks up there. Only fished off boats. Up there most weekends now though so any advice on marks would be great.

like most of the marks up from howick i would say that a calmer sea is better for fishing, so spring summer times i would imagine would fish better. most of that area fishes all year round in the right conditions, craster on a flat sea may produce cod in the winter as well as the summer. as far as seahouses goes i'm not sure as i have like you only fished mostly from boats in the past.
beadnell has the skeers to protect you when the conditions are no good else where as with i would imagine newton but i'm not sure in that one either.
this may help a bit but you should and will get better advice from the lads on here

                    cheers
