is there a certain wind direction or weather pattern tha bring fish in
feeding around the north east or is each mark different and how could tides effect where the fish are ?
mite sound obvious to you but i have no clue
cheers
Hi Chris,as a rule its normally northerly, north easterly, easterly and even south easterly winds that turn the sea up and create food, the rough seas will also bring the fish closer in as the sea gets dirty and fools the fish into thinking they are in deeper water (theory) bare in mind some venues are unfishable during rough weather and will pay you to wait until the next day when the sea is dying off,don\'t forget most rock marks will fish all year round in any condition as you are normally casting into deep kelp filled holes.Just remember if you are\'nt sure don\'t fish it !!
Chris re:tides
Most marks fish better at certain states of the tide. Why I do not know? Many other marks are only accessable at certain states of the tide. Best bet is to ask about each individual mark.
