thanks for all the support lads, did a little bit of work in a fish factory last week and the size of the cod coming through was unreal 
some of the fillets weighed over 20lb!
found out where these fish were coming from, its a little bit of a drive to get there but it is definately on the hit list. saw a couple of halibut as well and you certainly wouldn't be fishing for them with a flattie fanatic and size 2 hooks...both weighed over 100kg each! found out where there are some of those and its within casting distance of the shore
looks like i will be slide baiting with some 2lb coalies.
weather isn't too bad today, blue skies at the moment and light winds so maybe out for a fish later today or tommorow?
