its a nice casting line but it gets brittle over time
used some in the titainium 15lb bs and at first it seemed very good even did a thread on here about it praising it haha but after a few sessions it got very brittle and wasnt very good and this was just fishing the tyne:-(
it might be a better line in 30lb but at the end of the day its trial and error and there are lines that are marmite lines haha i use daiwa sensor which has done me no wrong but others hate the stuff lol
          good luck anyways mate

You don't want to be putting 30lb line on a 6500 size reel because a) you will get hardly any on and b) it will misbehave quite a lot when you do try to cast.

I wouldn't use 15lb F1 either as it is a low diameter line. Put some .35mm on - this will be 18lb F1 or 19lb Tritanium or some 15lb Daiwa Sensor which comes in at .37mm. All are well suited to the 6500 size reels and the Tritanium and Sensor are both excellent lines. This is a set-up for clean to mixed ground though. If you are fishing the rough stuff you need a bigger reel - Slosh 20, 525 Mag and load one of these with 30lb line.
                CLIP IT AND WHACK IT

The reel is ok for beaches with 15lb line

The penn 535 or slosh 30 with 35lb line would be the better choice for the rock marks north of the tyne to seahouses. Both Daiwa Sensor or Berkley trilene big game are excellent lines

Totally agree with Stuart, I use 18lb f1 in black on my mag elite for fishing the tyne and Blyth beach.

About to buy 30lb for my 525 ( fancy Berkley xts) for the winter / rougher stuff.
