Going to have a go off the Heugh tomorrow. Got a mackeral for 67p from Morrisons. Going to buy some rag from the Friarage tackle shop and maybe lug. Might even dig a score i,ll take the shovel and wiegh it up.

Going to use the Mackeral to tip off bait for a change from squid.

I,ll let you know how i get on.

Personally i love to get a couple fish but its not the end of the world if i don,t.When i,m at work i run round like a blue a--- fly and its just nice to get the fresh air and relax.

Looking forwards to getting out on a boat soon and catch some nice fish.

The Heugh.

Well went down to Hartlepool today took my dad out for some fish an chips up on the Headland. Strong SW wind. Dug a score of lug. Bought some lug and rag.
Got on the pier about 2pm and as i walked up began to feel the force of the wind. Not strong enough to throw my fishing box about but uncomfortable.
Two young lads had had enough and they went. That left me and one other lad from Washington.
Conditions seemed to worsen and it was impossible to detct any sort of bite.
I moved along the pier to the halfway mark behind the metal fence and fished outover.
Still difficult but fishable.
Unfortunatly nowt caught,but thats the way it goes i suppose.
