  • Hows the sea looking?

Been away working all week in Austria and I fancy a look out on a beach mark this afternoon around high. Just wondered if the sea would be Ok for that. I heard it had been big during the week. Thinking about Seaham ?

    Any advice much appreciated.

Yeah it's been big this week. Lots of weed about too. You could check the Longsands webcam to see how it looks before you set out.

Thanks mate, its a bit misty like ;-) Think I will just head out and see if I can find a mark. Could always drop back onto the Wear if it's too big.

It wasn't too big last night at Whitley bay last night, and the wind has switched since.

Still a big sea on, don't think a beach mark would fish, even if you miss the weed and hold bottom. That's South Shields beach anyway.

The walkway was a nightmare for weed last night, as soon as rigs hit bottom the rods were nearly pulled over by weed.

Big tide and big sea, steer clear of the walkway mate
