    Had a look today.
    They have a few mk2 13' Orions for only £75.
    Bargain for such a good rod.

        not just a shop its got a museum of all the old hardy gear you can look around

          Its in The Northumberland Gazette today that Hardy/Greys are being bought out by an American firm. It appears that there will be job losses from the Bosses down to the shop floor/factory lads, all very sad.

            Thats my morning sorted, il try tell the missus there is some good old fashioned history involved,its educational and its best to invest some money whilst there

              The American firm Pure Fishing has bought Hardy/Greys. They are a huge global tackle distributer and already have several other well known brands like Penn, Abu and Shakespeare.
              There are ten jobs being made redundant which is a real shame not least because it's a North East company with a great heritage.
              It's well worth a look at the shop as the museum is very interesting and there is often some good deals on rods and clothing.
