Anyone know if it is a decent winter mark ? i was there in the summer for some Macky sport but would like to give a bash in the winter anyone fished it or recommend ?

I think your on about dunstanburgh castle as bamburgh is a flat beach ! Depends on the conditions really not to be fished on a big sea northerly! A southerly wud be better so wind on your back and alot safer! Its a long walk in the winter with all ya gear but can produce big fish crasters alot closer and prob have more action ther! -
