Well.......that was a canny auction
Total raised in final bids is £394.99
This brings the toal amount raised by NESA for the RNLI to £9,539.99
Thanks again to all those who took part - the auction wouldn't happen without items to bid on and people bidding on them.
Some close-run things towards the end, there....lol
The battle between blackrat and kensr27sz was very tight for the fishbag
The gas burner nearly WASN'T an auction item - Keith wasn't sure if it would fetch anything. He told me "ah well - if it goes for a fiver, every little helps"..........this item also had a bit of a battle over it.....lol, eventually going to Peterm for £20
Nice to see Stores got his whisky.....not 1 - but BOTH bottles. That should see you through a weekend, David
Shame that the Clay Pigeon Shooting lot had to be withdrawn, but I understand Stueys' concerns.
Thankyou all again.
I'll be contacting all the successful bidders over the course of this weekend to let them know where to send their cheques.
Once I've recieved payment for an item, I'll contact the person who donated the item to let them know that arrangements can be made between themselves and the successful bidder regarding delivery / collection of the item.
NOTE TO THE ITEM DONORS:
Please don't hand over any items BEFORE I contact you about confirmation of receipt of payment.
Once I have all the cheques in, they'll be deposited in the NESA Fund Raising Account and the money will later be sent to the RNLI.
