It has came to my attention that there maybe a few juniors fishing the comp if so I will make up a second box of goodies just for the youngens to win.
      But same rules apply.
But none turn up then all goodies will be in one box.
Age limit for kids is upto 17 do you all agree.

Isn't there a boat comp on the same day ( Sunday 29th September) which will be the third time its been scheduled to take place.
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught

to prove fish caught on that day for measure and release....
            a:
the organisers can print a simple species hunt card for the day

            b:
take a photo with the sunday paper in the background .

however as its a single fish weigh in its up to the angler to decide which fuish he wants to weigh in . if said angler wants to keep (for example) 3 sized fish for the table then weigh in his heaviest fish . then technically its no different to a pleasure angler taking some home for table .

            my two pennies...

            hope i make it sunday....
Punch and pull then let rip

Will try to make it over, looking at the forecast it could be a canny day though the piers might be touch and go. One question though - what time is the weigh in? I assume it's back at Sue's caff but you need a closing time for the scales. I'd suggest 6pm, or 6:30 if you are being generous...

I am fishing Shields pier. Registering at Roker, fishing the pier then heading back for the weigh in ( if that's what happens) You're welcome to join me if you want to do the same.
