Help me out chaps , I have started to use pulley rigs as heading into winter ,but have some trouble keeping the bait clipped down when i cast . I am using a geminie genie on the end of my rig and using 5 or 6 oz sinkers . Only thing i can think it might be is my cast ? Any words of wisdom received with thanks

if u r using pulleys perhaps ur snood is too long. for other rigs like clipped down / 2 hook bomber . i find using srt springs or neoprene tubingcan help maintain a snood tension on a clipped rig during a cast.Punch and pull then let rip

I had similar issues last year mate and once i changed snood length it resolved itself.... use impact shields and breakaway imps... no problems with either to be honest. Trial and error I guess."In order to becomes old and wise, first you must be young and stupid."
