will this handle the waves, rocks weed at whitley?
or should i take the slosh 20 back for a slosh 30 before i use it?
thanks for all advice in advance
You wanting to fish the beach or the rock ends ? Tbh I think you will be fine wherever you fish at Whitley as long as you use rotters in the kelp and make sure your weak link is less weight than your mainline

Panama may look a sandy bay as your casting from the top half of the clean beach or the down slope half tide down on the ebb,but in reality any end rigs cast over 30 yards at low water are landing in mostly mixed rough ground or solid kelp beds.Use your heavy 25/30lb gear and rotton bottoms, best in a heavy onshore swell or dying sea,you have to move around normally to avoid the weed but not far 50 yards left or right, the fish are there its just finding a clear patch ,halftide down to half back, varie your distances to find the fish, short and long, lug and crab baits or mixture of with mussel cocktails best normally.
