Have been watching the catch reports, or should i say lack of catch reports.
i know there has been some debate about both high and low pressure and how they affect the catches.
i must say i have not really took much notice as to wether my catches have been better or worse due to pressures.
One thing i do know is i always seem to catch more fish on making tides, last weel we had some of the best fishing weather and very few fish. look at the tides they were dropping in size and from today they start making.
If my theory is correct and sea's dont drop off to quickly then hopefully we should start seeing one or two fish showing, but dont forget we are also well into February and if previous years are anything to go by the codling begin to get pretty scarce anyway.
So its fingers crossed!
