    Got a club match sunday afternoon on steetly beach, anyone fished it lately
    and had any luck. thanks.

    you must be fishing the tide up...

    the tide will fly in. the beach is very shallow so you,ll be on the move all the time.

    fish for flounders. use a 2 hook size 2 flapper and only lob 40 - 50 yds.

    a supprise bass .... may... turn up but not worth targeting. even a small undersize turbut might turn up.

    fishing at range wont do you any good when theres no movement, especially in daylight.

    use worm baits tipped with a bit of mackerel.

      Cheers Dabcatcher, fishing from 3.30 till 8.30, fishing between the outlet and the pier, will post a report on Monday mate.

        thats the shallowest part and you will struggle.

        stick to what i said and cast very short. only expect the odd small flounder.

        what club is it?
