Has anyone heard of it, has anyone read it if so what do you think of it, it is at the moment in a draft format and very shortly having another review after that it will be open for all of us to comment on it then it will be put into practice which will affect us all, things in it are about liciences, bag limits, marine protected areas in other words banning us from fishing there, there has been alot of secrecy about this strategy but the draught has been leaked there is a copy on my website http://www.ycsa.talktalk.net/ I would advise all RSA's to read it it is interesting reading.

Personally, I've got no problems with the draft document being posted on here.........don't really see the point though.
As Gwyn has said, it's only a draft....and a draft which is to be (probably) changed again soon, prior to it being open for people to make comment upon.
Can't see the point in getting all fired up about a strategy which doesn't yet exist in its' final form.
The only response you'd get from any comments you made on it (as it currently stands i.e. a draft), will be along the lines of...."nobody knows what the final document will include as it is still just a draft and has not yet been opened up for discussion. We'll have to see what IS in the final document and how those concerned respond to the proposals".
But.....as I say - I've got no problem with the draft document being posted on NESA......as long as Elton is OK about it and it doesn't infringe any copyright !

Hi Guys,
Just to let you know that this hasn't gone away. We are now on Draft version 4. I've posted a copy of it at this link.
Members of SACN and NFSA have been involved in formulating the draft. As I understand it this is the final draft so the document is as close to the final consultation document as were gonna get before we see the final document. Section 5 deals with the licence and bag limits issue and is the bit I'm most concerned about. Anyway's I'll post more when I know more about the final consultation. As it will effect all anglers for better or for worse (the debate on that is still raging) it is important that as many people as possible respond to the 12 week consultation. Hopefully we can get some help in spreading the word with posters in tackle shops and info across the net.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Cheers - Glenn
