  • fishing the ebro (spain)

while in barcelona me and our lass had a run down to a friend of ours who has moved out to spain just south of a little village called tortosa on the river ebro. her next door neighbour runs guided fishing tours on the river which is supossed to be one of the best catfish rivers in europe. have a look at the link. http://www.catfishingadventures.co.uk/.

i did not know whether to post this in sea or freshwater section as the river also holds sea bass as well.
sometime this year my friend will be letting out rooms to stay on her land which is less than 1 min walk from the river.

when we were there the river looked fantastic, fast flowing, dark green colour, eddys and small wirlpools, in fact quite daunting but i would like to think i can get back and have a day out fishing sometime. it looked great

    cheers

Looks canny that Mark, surprised you didn't have a go. After all those Catfish look just like giant Rockling.

    Jim.
Remember, some people are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them.
