  • Looking for a picture

    Hi Guys,

I'm after getting hold of a picture of the 58 pound cod caught by Noel Cook at Whitby back in 1992. I'm struggling to find anyone with the picture. It would be a shame if this wonderful fish was never seen again. Is anyone here in a position to help. Does anyone know the angler ? If so would there be any chance of a copy ? Id be willing to pay the cost of reproducing the picture and postage, or if I could get a scanned copy sent electronically it would be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read my post .

    Cheers - Glenn

The bloke standing in the backround with the red shirt looks a bit miffed, He was probably standing next to the lad who caught it!

Believe it or not potsy after we got him back on board he dried himself off borrowed a rod and reel from the skipper(his went over with him) and continued fishing as if nothing had hapend.remember stu jonson saying that's the biggest thing that's bean hauled over the gunnel's ov this boat.we all had a good laugh.but seriously if he hadn't been as fit as he was(leisure center squash champion) He would have been a goner.lesson learned always wear a life jacket,
Biggest fish that day.34lb cod.29lb ling
