whitburn/roker 10/09/2013 where tomorrow?

Tried whitburn 3 hours before the top of the tide.
Horrendous conditions for weed! put 2 years on both rods with just one cast each.
moved to the bay in-between the piers at roker, it looked to be the only place fishable apart from up river
Managed 2 plaice under a pound and few crab including a large eater
Also pulled up a few peoples gear, loads of mainline, leader and full rigs. Thought it pretty unusual as its pretty clean ground in the bay.
Very hard wind blowing so not the best fishing but worth a try.
Got lots of nice bait left to use up tomorrow, so does anyone have any ideas where it will be worth having a throw or two?? the wind looks like dropping off but i cant see that weed going anywhere soon!
Both fish went to makeral soaked in ragworm oil, not a touch on fresh crab/lug/squid/mussel

Well done on the plaice mate I think in between the piers at Roker might be a good shot in the winter from the car park as the beach has gone very steep abut like seaham
