want to fish the rock ends a lot more this year,ill be using rotten bottoms with a 80lb mono rig body with a loop in to attach my hook link.do people use a very short hook link or longer one and above or below the lead.using either 66 or 88 lb braid and a 20lb rotten bottom with a short rubbing leader.hook link 40lb big game.would think a shorter hook link might not snag as much on way down ?.sea due to come away again mid week so when it drops down ill be out,got plenty fresh crab on the go but the tide times mean it might have to be a high water shot,anyone recommend somewhere to try?
