Hi a friend has asked to to try and find this hook for him, all he told me that some lads fishing from North east and they where using these, he said they where semi circle`s ?,
yes he could use any hook/circle hook but he want these if possable.
Certainly not Gamakatsu G-points - I know for sure because I was using some today (they've been discontinued anyway unfortunately). I don't think I've evre seen a hook with a side-on eye like that - most are 90 degrees to the bend in the hook. They look to have a slightly curved-in point like a semi-circle, and possibly a slight kirby bend (but it's a bit hard to tell for sure from the photo). Couldn't thell you what make they are though, unfortunately.
look like a lure fishing hook you use to get from usa..... they stopped making them i think ( use to have a small split ring for connecting to the lure and the eye of the hook was the same as in your pics
im probably wrong like

That's the first thing I thought when I first seen it,
i had a box of hooks just like that. they were longline hooks.
cant remember what i did with them now, it was quite a while ago.
I agree they look like commercial longline hooks, they often have eyes like that for going through hauler or fish stripper, also the heavy gauge of them.
