    hi,anyone know what size fuji reel seat i need to fit this rod looked on the century site but the size does not allow for shrink tube

    28mm mate - the 26 is just too small, although would be a better fit if you could ream it out a bit. Lots of tape needed to pack out the 28.

        I use a 26mm Fuji reamed out Or 26.2mm pacbay or 26mm anyfish anywhere which are all slightly over 26mm and fit.

          If you can do any of these I'd recommend it - you won't believe the price hike between the 26 & 28mm fuji's...& the 30mm is nearly £30! The smaller seats also hold most reels more snugly - I found the reel feet on 525's & sloshes / saltists too small to hold securely & the reel seat would tighten up & crush into the frame of the reels...and they still tended to wobble a bit.

            Yes Gary the 28mm Fuji on a wr300 I had was metal hoods and it touched the cage on the fathom 15 took the paint off the reel where it touched.

                  the best thing to do is carry some black electricians tape and wrap abit round the feet of your different reels which takes up the slack then they will not wobble and the hoods will not scratch your pride and joy reels
