has anyone fished to the north of the caravan site at eyemouth and caught anything. there looks some decent deep spots. i've seen locals fishing there but never seen any fish caught. the spot I mean is up the road called pocklawslap and you park near to the football pitches and walk down towards a little harbour.

Hi mate, the wifes parents live very near to Pockslaw Slap, but I dont think there are any football pitches there? are you talking about the ones the other side of eyemouth harbour itself? is it fishing near A or B on this map you are talking about? A or B

From what I can gather the harbour itself doesnt fish well, but the rocks to the south of Point A do, and the rocks all around B do. In fact when we were out walking the dog a couple of weeks back I saw someone landing a few mackerel.

        Hi Keith,

Following Geodark's map you have Killidraught Bay, which might look like the harbour you mention, then you have Callercove Point. The water at Callercove is deep and I've had a few codling from here but not as many as you'd expect. It's all heavy ground with plenty tackle loss but the rocks are quite easy to cross and it's not far to walk.

Well there you go - I had never noticed it! but yes, the rocks around that bay are where I saw the bloke pulling the mackerel in.
