          Does that mean i,ve got to use big hooks Stan or can I still get away with using my normal size 1 or 1/0 pennels? he.he.(big hooks catch big fish little hooks catch them all!!!)

            Just wait till all the texts and phone calls to you stan from lads who need a new eye as the rods blew over roll on the big seas big hooks bigger baits probs another winter of westerly winds lol saying that we had some great seas last year even with these long flat spells the beaches are still washed out so very hopefull

                      Can't wait, my first winter up here. Loads of marks literally on my doorstep (cullercoats). Also am off work payed for most of oct, nov, dec, jan as am on resettlement from the Army.

                        Good luck Stan the Man, and all the other lads...( not expecting to see Grant out much, now that Cupid had shot him up the Arse ).
                        Gonna give it a good blast this year, more beaches and Rocks, not being glued to the Pier...

                          All I wanna do is beat my PB codling of 3lb !! Had a 37 CM codling out on Sunday 1st September though so off to a good start.
