is it true it can be used with a fixed spool and mulitipler?

you can use any rod with a fixed spool mate , its just the ring layout that's different , a multi rung rod will slow a cast made with a fixed spool , that's all .
The one with captive reducer and yellow/gold whippings is mint.. You can still get them new but have stopped making them now.. I didn't think the new models were out yet?

Not sure about new rod but there in the same budget as a rt axe and the rt axe wins hands down for a cheap rough ground rod its the best out there the rod will pull the plug out, its light very well built with fuji eyes and will cast any lead you want with any size bait
Best bet is probably that auction site the bay of e, although if you hold on a bit mate they have brought all the ICON's back into manufacture for this season, check out there facebook page.
