    Fished last night in my club comp. Had bites all night till the tied turned, managed to get one codling in shame it was just to small to weight in! But returned safely to grow for next year. Baits used frozen blacks razor and crab. Destination near lynmouth :P
    good crack and was able to watch the mighty Newcastle play via sky go! Dont you just love technology lol.

    unlucky on the codling being undersize m8 i fished monday afternoon and had 12 out all 1-2cm undersize got a match saturday night hope to do better

      Not sure 28th Aug can be called the "winter season!!"

      Sounds a decent night though mate.
      2016 - Cod, Dab, Dogfish, Gurnard, Ling, Mackerel, Saithe, Scorpian fish. .

        you,ve been able to catch codling right through the summer, so wouldnt call it the start of the winter season.

            right guys and garls my sisters other half has been posted to RAF Lucas right on the Eden estuary am wondering were is best to fish up there and what type of gear i would need. we would be going up by motorbike at weekends and will be getting extra gear to leave there permanantly. any help would be good cheers
