The point I've always fished in the winter "the black hole half way between the point and craster will produce any stage of the tide but must say the bigger fish over top water if you google craster you will find directions from the A1 to cullernose point once you get up through howick you will see the cliff just drive along the rd till you come to a layby on your left next to a gate across from the layby is the path which leads up to the point if you look south you have howick haven with some big gu;llies plenty of kelpies there past the haven you have sugar sands which is worth a shot if you pm me nearer the winter season I will share some info with you on when and where to fish the point m8 let us know how you get on

Fished there the other day just right of the point, fish came on on the ebb, casting out just over the tide line, loads of small codling about on fresh crab, very heavy ground, apparently the more flat the sea is the better on these parts
You Hurd the man tubs...get undressed !

Was up there Friday when the sea was big but for some strange reason no takes conditions were spot on high up the point was the safest spot not ideal for me cause I like off the bottom but we threw everything at it some lads were going on so hope they had more luck than us
