Walkway and nearby.

Got some time off this week and heading up around the Tyne

Anybody fish the walkway? Does it produce and where do you park?

Any pointers on the area appreciated, high tides fall wrong for daytime fishing so low water marks would be ideal, just looking for some sport.

Tyne can still produce in low water but not its best time same as sheilds long beach all better on the flood you really have to go north off the tyne to find good low water marks

What about parking for the tyne marks? I've not fished it before so only know to park on the pier or near the groyne.

You can park down by the South Shields sailing/boat club when fishing the walkway mate, I would advise against parking in housing estate (heard lots of complaints of keyed cars), you can park along long row and broad landing for fishing along the cobbling landing part of the tyne.

The Milldam you can fish from the car in the car park to the left, not sure if you can still do this on the right side of car park as they are/have renovated the whole area. But plenty of other parking places along the river if you look for them mate, these imo are just the closest to the marks that I know of.
