Hi everybody, I am just getting back into sea fishing after some 20years, and wondered if any anyone could give me any info on the impact leads with the hook clip incorporated ie how to use them and are they any good. I bought a couple yesterday just stock up on sinkers and wondered what they were like, thanks for any info,,, Bob,

Used to use the Impact Leads all the time, they cast well and never had a problem with the hooks releasing. Nowadays though I get my leads from Dusty Bin, my preference is for the Namix but he does UK Hooks and DCA leads as well. Even with postage it will still work out cheaper than buying leads from a shop.

for casting baits at long range the impact leads are the best imho, however the price of them is crazy,a namix flat back with a bait clip tucked in close to the lead , would be my second choice for fishing at long range,if you only casting short range i would rather buy the leads of the lads on here
