    Northern Rock Charity open 2006

First of all I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this event. There are so many people that have donated both prizes and their time to help make today a success. I can’t mention you all but you know who you are.

The total raised today (including the raffle) was £554. Northern Rock will double match this which means that the charity will receive £1662.

The generous donations of prizes and discounts received from local tackle shops and national tackle suppliers meant that everyone that weighed in received a table prize. Those who did not catch a fish and stayed until the end of the presentation also received a table prize. Im sure anyone you speak to who attended the competition will tell you what a good day was had by all, and we will look forward to around 300 people turning up next year.

NEXT YEARS OPEN IS BOOKED IN FOR THE 15TH OF DECEMBER 2007 CHARITY TO BE ANNOUNCED NEARER THE TIME

Once again, thanks to everyone that contributed and fished.
    Kind Regards
    Carl & Paul
