Biting my tongue, why not likely.

Someone on the board has a saying at the end of each posting:

the more i fish the luckier i get, Graham i hope thats true.

Hope the next round is as much fun, i am sure it will be.

All the best mate and to each and everyone on nesa.

Well done all of you ,can't wait for our first match.

              You and me too Steve.

I was assured when entering this comp that I would have loads of nights that I could fish.

Those nights are like the winter, they are getting shorter.

I think it will be left to the last night where I cannot fish as I work every Sunday. If it is I won't enter another comp organised on here and would discourage everyone else to do so also.

I am now down to five nights, not a lot out of three weeks.

Before all the downers come back, my partner has been in touch and we still don't have a date. I don't live on the coast and find it difficult to make most comps, that is why I posted the questions in the first place.

              Jim.

Well done to Terry and Martin for winning and to fozally for his sportsman like approach to the comp in sharing his bait, but bad luck Jim (that is if the worst comes to the worst mate).

I only wish that me and our Davey could have entered for the craic and the chance to fish a few (hopefully!!) new marks, but I work shifts and it would probably have been really difficult to find a time that suited all 4 anglers so I sympathise with you fully, but that is why we didn't enter in the 1st place.

Saying that, I wouldn't let it put me off entering the next one though and hope that nobody else is put off as it seems a great comp and a great way to learn new marks and better yourself as a sea angler.

Got to agree Rob, it does'nt get better than that mate.

                  4 days now.

                  Jim.

Jim, i am sorry you feel this way, but please check your pm.

Yes i did say you would have ample time to fish the tie ( 3 weeks), however i did not bank on your opponents failing to contact you.
I have sent Adam a message to contact me.

For this comp to work then the pairs need to be in contact with one another.

If any team fails to contact in good time then please let me know so i can do something about it.

If work clashes with the final date then another date will be made.

JIM, Both Zippie and me work shifts and were supplied with 3 suggested dates but Terry did say if none were suitable then we just had to let him know and he would have come up with something else as the whole idea is to get people fishing together. A little co-operation between all taking part is all that it takes and as it is the first comp like this I am sure there will be teathing problems. Keep at it and I am sure you will not be dissapointed.
A bad days fishing is better than a good day at work.

To be fair to Stephen he did ring me last week to say they had picked the pier as the venue, and could we fish through the day through the hols. I did say it would probably have to be a night time, but heard nowt since.
                          Cheers, Keith.

Well we fished the river at Hebburn tonight and the weather threw just about everything at us lol.

Started off with a decent Whiting on my first chuck and thought we were going to be in for a great night.

After that it was mainly smaller Whiting and Codling but Adam caught a nice Whiting a bit later on.

We decided before we started that we would just measure all of our fish and return them and the result was Stephen and Adam 180 cm myself and Keith 130 cm and lots of fish returned alive.

Well done Stephen and Adam and good luck in the next round lads.

                              Jim.
