  • centaur tx any feedback?

    alreet all!!!
im thinkin of gettin the greys centaur tx for my autumn winter cod fishin!!!
has anyone used these rods before?
will they handle big seas? kelp and roughish ground?

Depends on what you call rough but here's the description from greys own web site description; 'the rods deliver maximum bite detection with the strength to handle mixed ground.'

that's a no for the rough, better rods out there for less. Try a RT Axe £120ish. A triplex with braid and F/spool might be a good go instead. Had a waggle of one (TX) in the factory shop and thought it would make a good Bass rod.
