Anyone thinking of travelling to Alnwick for sea fishing bargains......DON'T BOTHER.

Not a single item of sea gear in the sale.

Plenty for the fluff chuckers mind.

I actually got told a few months ago whilst in Greys shop there would'nt be a sale and would just use the Factory Shop to get shot of sale/reduced items

There is a small amount of clothing Alan, wading jackets and the like.

went up today with my dad. was surprised there was no sea gear, but got a nice greys travel bag for £20. Think it was about £100 in the shops. When i got home i found the supplier details for the factories that make their gear in the far east. They'd left in it the bag!

sorry mate, more luck than good judgement, the guy in the shop said the boss has just decided to add sea gear in the sale he was literally putting the signs up while we were there.

Hi guys started to sell the sea gear about lunch time bought Greys beachcaster 13' GRX 40% off.

I am reliably informed that most of the sea rods (not all) on sale price are the result of breakages.

When you take a broken part back for replacement (warranty) they mix and match the remaining parts and sell them off without warranty.

Those that dont go to the sale get sent out to one shop in the north east who sells them cheap and without warranty also.

Just checked the ticket and the url that was listed showed as 'page not found'.

The other url listed just took me to a general far east wholesale portal. Either they didn't renew their domain name or there was a mistake in the url.
