Hendon Prom fishes for codling in a nice dying sea...try the very end bay at the southern end, alternatively, I took these two in a 5 cod haul for over 20lb, on a cold February morning last year. They were taken from the second bay from the groyne, where there is a little more depth, and some nice mixed ground of rocks and kelp.
