  • More fish or "scouting for boys"

What would you prefer "scouting for boys" - http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/paidyouthleave/ (540 signatures) or a chance to catch more fish - http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Seafishstocks/ (518 signatures) ?

If you haven't yet signed the e-petition for a 10 year ban on commercial fishing in certain areas of British waters, then GET IT DONE.

Seen a programme on florida were they make reefs with used tyres and concrete. They showed the before and after does not take long for the artifical reefs to get established.

They would rather put concrete blocks up to protect sand dunes in this country.

      China to Build Artificial Reefs
China will build 100 artificial reefs off the coast of south China's Guangdong Province over the next 10 years to improve the water quality of sea there.

The reefs will be scattered in 12 fish- and shrimp-production zones, which cover a total area of 2.4 million hectares.

This will be the first time for China to build artificial reefs. The decision was made upon a proposal raised by deputies to the Ninth Guangdong Provincial People's Congress last February.

By building artificial reefs, the living conditions of marine life in key sea areas will be improved, and some endangered species will be protected, said a Chinese marine expert.
