Paul, you really want to have a word with yourself. You are a good angler by the sounds of it, but do you really have to go ramming it down peoples throats what you've done in your angling career, just to justify your argument?

You sday it was a waste of a fish. I can GUARANTEE that during your match angling career that you have caught fish, killed them, weighed them in, and left them there. Is that not a waste? I'm not knocking it, because I've done it countless times. All I'm saying is people in glass houses and all that.

But instead of having a go at terry for getting that fish why dont you go down the rat house and glass center and tell all the people down there who is keeping undersize fish that you fished for england and see wot happens.

As for blowing your own trumpet, isn't that what any sport ,including angling, is all about. Competition/trophys/how big it was/the one that got away.
