Right so me and my mate are gonna head down the river in a couple of weeks bait fishing and I've not been down for years since I was about 13 or something lol. Was just wondering where is the best places down there these days and also baits etc? Is it best fishing low to high tide? As I say haven't been for years and honestly can't remember all those years ago now. Thanks.
Sean.

Brighams, Mill Dam, Walkway, Jarrow Park, Hebburn Marina all good marks. Ragworm working well at the moment. Fish the Walkway on the flood but the others on any state of the tide you should get a few fish out especially after dark always fishes better IMO.

Depends if the lady is up for it lol.
Mill dam and brighams, spirit of tyne and codgers corner aren't snaggy at all mate, the walkway can be snaggy especially on bigger tides, no idea about the Jarra and Hebburn marks.
