          I never use snap swivels for that very reason.......always gemini links, very trusting...

            Was pure laziness mate I got fast held on my second chuck and it straightened then so I bent it back into shape lmao dunno why but I did and continued using it ..doh .. after I lost it hoyed a gemini on will never use em again and for the life of me dunno why I put one on in the first place ...

              Also need to add to anyone from this side of the river (north) wanting to fish it ... it takes 40mins from cramlington through the tunnel at rush hour and only 20 - 30 mins back through the tunnel and over to tynemouth just in case anyone this side of the river wants to have a crack at it but is unsure of the traffic and times ..you only lose the first and last half hour of the match or you could simply learn the marks south of the tyne well worth a try as its well run with an increasing turn out ..terry's the man to beat lol keep the pressure on him he loves it hahahaha

                I used to use Gemini links as well but lost fish when rigs unclipped, must have been twisted. Use Ovals now, not the ones with little tabs on for the same reason. 2/0 oval attached to shockleader and 1/0 oval on top of rig except a loop on rough ground rigs. Never had a rig unclip since.

                I like the Geminis as a lead link though, especially with impact shields for clip downs.
