  • New additon to my tackle box.hope I never need it

After recent events, re colllywell bay, and add to that the fact that I almost watched a man drown at Beadnell a few months back, and three years ago, I helped drag an angler with a broken leg whod been hit by a wave on rocky island, to a waiting ambulance, I have decided to find space in my box for a length of thin nylon rope. and I hope to god I never need it. but u never know. Better not need it and have it, than vice versa.

and may I humbly add my condolences to Jades\' Parents.

Good idea paul - but listen to this lads __ I was fishing our match (cleadon club S/Shields) on monday night (got nowt - but thats bye the bye) and a \"fellow angler \" not in wor club mind you , told me how on sunday night he was fishing the tide down just further along from the rubble ,when he shone his lamp into the many pools/ shelves that appear on the ebbing tide to see a skate/ ray- now great i here most of you say .BUT THE FACT THE TOSS POT CUT THE ROPE FROM THE LIFE RING TO SCALE DOWN THE PIER WALL to try and get it while it was trapped in a rock pool REALLY PI**ED me off .i tried to attach the rope to the ring but it was all frayed i hope the Port of Tyne bloke spots it ,before it is needed.

CUT THE ROPE FROM THE LIFE RING TO SCALE DOWN THE PIER WALL
      - Totally irresponsible! Insults would be wasted on such a complete idiot!

the world is full of ar#e holes,Blyth harbour had a problem with idiots like that a few years ago,in recent years they have installed CCTV camera\'s and the life rings seem to be left alone, bit sad really its costing the tax payer (thats me and you) millions of pounds for CCTV systems, but so be it.

Para cord - never go anywhere without it, about 3 quid for 25metres, very soft and very strong

it was washed back in the river -by a \"BIG WAVE\" so he told me ,while he was doing his man from milk tray antics - so if HE was washed in where would he be now ,or more likely who would WE on this board be blaming ,as i can not see him admitting to cutting the rope ,that is assuming he got the chance to talk about it. Nowt as strange as folk, but there you go.
