Hi guys , I got a pass out mon night to try a bit of night fishing .Just wanted your thoughts on where to try . High tide is about 9pm and low at 2am . I fancy trying one of the beaches around shields or sunderland and avoid the piers . Anyone got any thoughts ?? Would Marsden rock be ok on these tides or am i better staying on the big beach fishing the sand bars .
All suggestions welcome cheers guys

I would not fish marsden rocks on your own at night if you dont know them mate as they can be a bit dodgy under headlamp. Big tides might push some fish in on the beaches
Or go down first light and fish last half of flood at the post if there isn't any pots there that is.. best chance of a few codling this time of year james.if you fish the beaches in summer all you can expect realy is dabs small coalies..but saying that there was a 5lb bass taken last week first gate seaward side in gulley
