  • What flotation suit?

Fished Blyth beach on Thurs night and it was a little bit cool (2 degrees on returning to the car). What recommendations have people got for flotation suit's?

Heard mixed reports of the I-max suit.......and is it a mission to take a p**s in a one piece suit?!?!?!?

    regards

Got a Sunridge one piece and am very happy with it. Many others prefer a two piece - down to personal choice I guess. Taking a 'whiz ' (nice polite expression for the board!) is no bother thanks to a good zip and velcro!

I fished Blyth beach on Thursday night as well and you're dead right, my car said 2 degrees as well, I was lovely and warm in a Fladen two piece floatation suit, in fact I was roasting, never had the coat fastenend all night, honestly, I would recommend one, ok for getting the tackle out as well and I don't mean the fishing tackle.
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares?... He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!

The first one I got was a one piece and I thought it was great untill I got my first two piece suit. Would not go back to a one piece now but as Hedley says that is just personal preference.

I would go and try a couple on first and fasten them right up in the shop and see which one you find the most comfortable.

I use the Imax and I can't fault it. It keeps me very warm and very dry!!!

Have heard a few people say it's non breathable and very heavy.
I would like to see a floaty that is breathable!!! and as for it being heavy, I find it alright although it is heavier than most but that's because it has more floatation than is required by law.
Which can't be a bad thing!

            Cheers
