Lol David - it seems to have gone the long way round, but I'm glad that you got it eventually.

Again, sorry for the length of time it took to get the finished photo to you. Reading your mams' comments, I guess it was all worthwhile - just wish I could've got the photo to you sooner.

Just incase some of you are thinking "what a cheapskate that bloke TC is - he could've put the picture in a frame".........I did.......lol..........this was the finished picture:

Firstly.... on the night I gave Rod a lift to the event. When we got to the top of the ramp at Tynemouth (Alan we were fishing on the South Crab Hill) Rod says "Where's my rod?" Me says "Don't know" - it's still in the back of his car in Heaton!!! So I have to go and get it. So.... I provide the transport, he's using the lug I dug that morning, I tell him where to fish (the other option was Sharpness, where the Tynemouth comp was won), I tell him where to cast and he wins 100 notes and then we DON'T go night clubbing on the sea front in Whitley lol.

That's what little brothers are for David. Make sure you get his rod out of the car next time mate, will save you a journey lol.

        Cracking post mate.

Ali, not sure if I am happy about the Laughter, Lug, Bait elastic and Mints lol.

Great picture too Tony mate. That day doesn't seem more than a couple of months ago lol.

        Jim.

Well done Rodders - despite what David says it is obviously a case of skill and a thorough knowledge of the area, even if you nearly got wet. That's your quota for the month used up so you may struggle in Scotland at the end of the month. The dosh will come in useful - your first round! Another blank David. Should have tried the Goatsies.

            Lol Jim,
I know what you mean.......however - the final photo decided upon was one taken after several other visits to the location.

What makes it worse Jim is that Rod's rod was your rod - the one I bought for him in the first auction. You're right about the blanking Willie - never looked like catching (again). SIXFOOTSTEVE suggested I turn to being a ghillie - he might be right lol.

Thanks to all involved and a big thanks to Jim for lending me a rod for the night. I blanked of course but did have a couple of bites about an hour into the flood so I was happy that a fish had found my bait
                    Regards, Graham

Aye, well done from me too.

I might have turned up but I was told I had to drink alcohol for most of the night.
As my dad used to say....Man who go to bed with itchy bum......wake up with stinky finger!!!
