Not sure of them all but Keith Brown got his from Blyth beach and Neil Peacock (Kingfisher) was on Blyth beach also. Not sure if Rod said Stoney Bottom but I am sure him and Paul will be looking in today to let you know.

    Jim.

Was a good night even though conditions werent the best. Seems I am not alone in needing longer legs for wading back to dry land

Nothing ever get's forgotten on this forum does it except the odd roll of bait elastic

Rather than killing them for nothing I've just filleted, skinned & boned the 5 chickens I took home, I'm left some strips about an inch wide and quarter of an inch thick, by the time I beef them up with some salt (no pepper ) there might be enough to make a sarny.

Wish I'd scrounged the one Neil caught, biggest chicken I've seen, must of been nearly 2lb
          Cheers, Keith.

We got a phone call about midnight last night and had to rush to the rvi - Ray's dad had a heart attack so we were there till half five distracting his mam from fretting by telling her tales of you lot and the fish we didnt catch lol!

Ray has just phoned the hospital and he is ok now so thats good news.

lol! as with most things in life timing is important - more so for us shorties Ray never had a pair of roller skates as a kid so walking on moving objects (loose stones) is a new experience for him plus he has further to fall!

Keith I never use bait elastic on this forum only when I go fishing mate lol.

Why is it that bait elastic is always the thing that you forget and can't buy when you are out for a nights fishing. The petrol stations should sell it - well they sell things for the weekend don't they

The way things worked out it was just as well we had been fishing the comp as it meant I hadn't had a drink and could rush straight up to the hospital. He is being well looked after and has been suitably chastised for not ringing for the abulance at five o'clock when he got the tightening in his chest

Ali there is always standby bait thread but pulling your clothes apart in the dark with a sea running isn't easy believe me !

Keith try this, cut your chicken strips in half, deep fry them in batter, get a nice sacla stri fry sauce or equivalent, they do a lovely spicy one, heat the sauce in a thick based frying pan, put the fried chickens in and toss until covered, and serve with rice or a nice crisoy salad. Delicious
