  • shore crab for wrasse

    going to try float fishing for wrasse with hard backs,had a few on rag but reading up hard back crabs seem to be there fav bait.anyone used them ?.ill try st marys and crab hill first.are they best fished live or do you kill the crab first. is there a best size and do I just use any I can find .any info on this would be welcome

    Try small crabs, hooked through back 2 leg sockets. Live would be better as you will get movement.

    id imagine the smaller crabs be better as the smaller fish can take them aswell. But im sure the large crab would pick out the better bigger specemims
