depends on where you are fishing m8 , rock marks. piers or sandy beeches .
if you havent used a multiplier before try to borrow one first to see if you can get away with one. and how much do you want to spend ,i have a bullet and would not part with it ,i have penn mags as well but i am getting a sl30h next week as i had one before and loved it for fishing .im sure the other lads and lasses will help you as well .

The slosh range gives great value for money as well as great gear ,I've got Abu reels as well ,7000 and 7500 ,oh and Penn reels ,hang on I hope our lass isn't reading this , I'd go for SL20 for beach work and the SL30 for the rough stuff I'm sure they're around £65 each now.You can take the lad out of Walker but .......

Hi Sonny,
I use a Greys Orion 13ft with a sl30h and 30lb line straight through for fishing off the rocks and I have just ordered a sl20h to use with 20lb line on the beaches.
The sl30h is very well built and I have had no problem with it and I wouldn't expect anything different with the sl20h.
I ordered my from http://www.poingdestres.co.uk/ and it was £69.99 with £5.00 next day delivery. I have seen them for £65.00 somewhere but couldn't find the ad. If you order anything online, watch the delivery cost because some companies take the pi$$ and it puts the price up quite a bit.
regards
Stu

wouldn't use an orion on the rocks as its a beach rod ..not much backbone ..good rod for the beaches though and at that price worth a look ..if your after a cheapish rock rod the ron thompson accelorator is around the 95-100 quid mark and will pull fish and anything else through kelp a lot easier the original slosh's are good reels and good value for money .
