Troon, west coast of Scotland

I'm working in Kilmarnock for the next week but my digs are right on the sea front of the above and have my gear with me so has anyone fished around this area that could point me out to a couple of marks to try can't drive to far as vans on a tracker ha. Cheers.

ballast bank,right nxt to the harbour,,,,rough ground though, most people fish the float for wrasse ,may even get a bass,,,supposed to be a low tide mark but i prefer high tide,,,just turn left before harbour and youl see cars parked drive past cars till you come to the end and youll see the ballast bank rising above you the old slipway is here you cant miss it,very touristy though at this time of year,,,its only about half a mile from troon town centre,,,
